So, I came across another little heart defect baby. This special little one was born in the last week and suffers from a severe heart defect(the same as the post I did on baby Gracie) this sweet little angel will be undergoing her first open heart surgery tomorrow. Please pray for her family as you all could guess that this would be such an emotional, stressful nerve racking day for her family. Can you imagine giving your brand new infant up, and trusting these doctors with the outcome of basically her life. I know Heavenly Father has a plan for each one of these special children, and these children knew the risks, trials, pains they would face as they agreed when they chose to take a some sort of disabled body to come into this world. I am ever so grateful for their valiant little spirits and the lessons in love, faith, humility, honor, courage, selflessness that they teach me. I know that whatever agreement they made in the premortal life is one they should be so proud of.
As a little girl I had always dreamed of becoming a "baby" doctor, so maybe that is why I always feel so drawn to these sweet babies, I just wish there was some way I could save them all, just whisper in their ears that they would be okay and take whatever pain they would face in this mortal life away from them and carry their burdens and pain on my back. They are a lot stronger than what I could ever dream to be and that is why our loving Saviour gave them the trials they would be facing, because they are choice spirits and their parents should feel so PROUD!
I want to thank my special spirit sister Codee for teaching me about all of these sacrifices, promises, lessons, that she made with her Father in Heaven when she chose to be born with Autism, giving up on a "normal life" just so she could gain a body come to earth and teach us all a lesson. I love you Codee, and am so grateful you are my sister and the many wonderful things you have taught me.
Again, please offer up your prayers to Lindsay's family as they will be facing a very challenging road in the next couple of days. Her parents would love if you left them a comment on their blog showing your support for them and their family. Just click Lindsay's name on my blogger buddies..

Happy Fathers Day!!
We had such a wonderful day celebrating Fathers Day today. We started the day off by making Scott breakfast of french toast and LOTS of bacon, our daddy LOVES bacon. We then had a great day at church with uplifting talks and a beautiful music selection done by the primary children. As a mom tears welled up in my eyes and then tears of joy streamed down my face to see my beautiful daughters stand in front of the audience and sing about their dad. They were so proud to be up there singing their little hearts out and their dad was pretty proud too!
After church we opened Scotts gifts and then headed to the park for a picnic with my dad and mom, sisters and all of their families. We had a fun little picnic, played football, talked, sang, opened more gifts(thanks mom and dad for thinking of Scott and giving him a gift as gratitude for him on being such a wonderful, dad, husband, and son-in-law)
We stayed at the park for a couple of hours, the weather couldnt have been nicer and finished our day there by stuffing our faces with Marie Calendar Pies....Yum-o!!
Thanks to my wonderful husband for being such a great example to me and our kids. Scott you were born to be a dad and we couldnt be more grateful for all the things you do for us as a family. Thank you for taking care of us, making each of us feel special and loved daily, you really are the light of our lives...We Love You!
Thanks Emerson for taking our picture, you did a great job, even if I do look like a drunken soldier:)
Trying to get a descent picture of daddy and kids before church. Can I just say...argghhh! This is always such a fun task, I mean look at everyones faces and hair, its enough to make a mother quiver. Oh, well at least we got a picture and I do have to say, I love my little family!

Happy Fathers day to my wonderful dad. I love you so much and I am so grateful for all that you have done and taught me throughout my life. You are such a wonderful dad and even better grandpa, my kids eyes just light up when you are around and they love you so much. Thanks for all the things you do for me and my family, we love you so much! Have a wonderful day dad-e-o!
Can you guess what our dad got for fathers day?

A new grill. This thing is awesome, it has infra-red cooking, built in temp control themometor for meat cooking, a griddle, rottisierrie, I mean the thing basically barbeques for you. We are ready to do some serious backyard bbq's....Welcome Summer! He also got an outdoor fire pit so we can roast marshmellows, hotdogs, or just sit and relax by a small outdoor fire right in our backyard.

Summer means.....POPSICLES!!
We love summer because that means LOTS of Popsicles at our house. Cohen thinks he is such a big boy eating one, even though his hand is frozen to the point where it is bright red from the Popsicle resting on his hand. There is no way to help him out since he has a death grip on those babies. Here he is enjoying one after a LONG day outside and getting sprayed by the hose. He is so Yummy I want to Eat him UP!!
I Love Sunday's
Our Saturday Project
Last weekend we put the finishing touches on our yard. The job was to unload and place 3 yards of dark woodchips around the yard. I was proud of the girls, they put their gloves on and got to work. We had a great time as a family working together and it was nice to see the finished project at the end of the day.
Scott, you have done an amazing job on the yard, it looks absolutly BEAUTIFUL.
Anyone up for BBQ??

A Niece On the Way!
So my cute sis-in-law Chelon, who lives in Texas just called
me with some happy news...she is having her baby girl next
Thursday! Yeah!! I am so very excited for her and her family,
and almost a little jealous if I do say so myself....there is nothing
better than a new baby in a home.
Chelon, you will do great! I mean this is your fifth kid and all, so by
now you are a pro at this child birth stuff. I wish I were closer
so I could help out with kids, dinners, wash, etc....Hopefully,
I will get to see this sweet angel sooner than later.
Good luck, We love you and cant wait to welcome
another niece to our family!!
