A Mom's Bragging Moment(only once..I promise:)

If I may brag just for a minute. Just want to tell my Emerson Rose how proud I am of her for being chosen again this year(3rd year in a row, may I add) for the S.E.M program at schoool. Basically it is the gifted program and the teachers choose students based on test scoring, ability to learn and retain information, reading skills..etc..

We are proud of you beattle and want to commend you on your thirst to learn and the love you have for school and all the learning that is accompanied along with it. All your hard work now with pay off in the years to come with Jr. High, High school and then on to college. You are a smart girl but more importantly you are a nice girl. Remember to always be the example!! Love ya girl!

Happy Birthday Claire!

The CUTE shirt gramma and gramps bought her to wear on her special day!

It was 5 years ago today that our little Claire Elizabeth was welcomed into our family. From the very beginning she has been such a calm, sweet, tender hearted little girl and to this day things have not changed. Our little bundle of joy weighed in at 6lbs 5oz. and 20 inches. She was born 3 1/2 weeks early. At just 4 weeks she was admitted into Primary Children's with Viral Meningitis. There she endured a spinal tap, more I.V.s than I can count and still every Dr. and intern that worked with her commented on how sweet and calm she was. She has grown into a very beautiful, caring, loving, free spirited, whimsical, creative, playful little girl. She makes our hearts and home happy daily. We love you Claire Bear and we hope this year is the very best yet!!!

We celebrated as a family at the famous Chuck-E-Cheese. Mom, Dad, Emerson, Cohen, Gramma/Grampa Warrick and aunt Codee joined in on all the fun. This saturday will be Claire's "friend" party where 7 of her friends will continue on with the celebration!

I just had to post some pictures of something that made me smile. As I was getting ready to make my bed Cohen decided to lay my pillows out stand on my quilt and jump full force to the pillows. I couldn't believe how high and far that little guy could jump. I love this little man and the everyday things he does that make me smile and fills my heart with so much joy and love. I don't know what I would do without my little guy. Love you Chubba!

Our Weekend

Here is our weekend....in no particular order. Yes, as you can all see we are one exciting family! Please don't be jealous of our fun packed weekend. We are par-tay ANIMALS!!Cohen enjoying a ride on his dump truck. He loves our wood floors for that sole purpose.

Did I ever mention how much my girls like to pose for the camera? Emerson loves to pretend to be in photo shoots:) Someday she wants to be the next Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift, Rodeo Queen, Pediatrician........

Where's Claire?? This is the pose she chose to do for the camera and was so adamant about getting about 60 pictures in this same pose...

Look at that cheeser!! She LOVES to be in front of the camera and there is no fake photo taking with her. After every picture you take of Claire she has to see it on the screen approve of it and then start again. Oh, how I love my little posers.

Claire's First Day of Preschool--Year #3!!

Claire has an obsession with shoes. She is a typical girl
I guess. She loves to change her shoes at least 4-5 times
a day I'm guessing. After trying on 4 different pairs of shoes
at the store these are the ones she chose. I tried to convince her a couple
of times with different pairs but she kept coming back to these ones. What
can I say...this girl knows her shoes:)
