Check out this blog. The story will tug at your heart and many times leave you in a cry out loud moment. There are so many ways to give this season and I have made the looking a little bit easier on you. The website is dbkunz.blogspot.com. Listed on the sidebar there are items needed for "Daxton's Box". What an easy way to give. You may donate the items listed or make a donation to help purchase the needed items. I know we will feel such joy in our hearts to be able to help families feel some sort of comfort in their time of loss and sorrow.

Saying Goodbye...
Last night Scott and I drove up to University Hospital to say goodbye to his granny. It was hard to go into her room and see her laying in her bed so motionless. I was yearning to hear her say,"hey, doll how are ya? You look lovely." I sat by her bedside held her hand and thanked her for being my friend, for loving my Scottie so much, and loving my little ones. I am so grateful for the time she was here in Utah that she came to eat pumpkin pie at my house, visit with my kids while I had Dr.'s appts, and having bbq's at Steph's house. I am grateful that I got to really spend time with her a few years back as she helped me sew fabric blocks together in hoping to get a quilt done(we got all the blocks sewn, but regretfully never pieced the quilt together) she was a perfectionist at the sewing machine and often times checked my lines and literally made me start over from the beginning, but I loved it. I loved hearing all of her stories of her days growing up in England. I will miss our weekly check in calls, and her letters that she used to type to us that always managed to have a sticker of a cat on it somewhere(in homage to her love of cats, and closing every letter with "love granny & puddin' followed closely with a pawprint)
It is hard to say goodbye, but the thing that makes it feel a little better is knowing that she knows how much she was loved by me. Love you Nana Peg!

Dang Computers
Sorry my page is a bit skee-wamp-pus!! I don't know what happened but after journaling about our trip to California it just disappeared and now is out in cyber space somewhere. Not only did my journaling vanish but the layout and the spacing on my page is weird as well. I guess I could go in a retype everything and sort my page back out,but being the lazy sucker I am, I will not be doing that again today!! Makes me mad. I spent a good 30 minutes writing about our fantastic trip and now.....its GONE! I will journal it again another day, just not today! Most of you don't care what we did, where we went, what we saw, what we ate, how the airplane ride was....but I need to have it written down for my own little online journal. I just hope I don't forget before I actually go in a journal it.....you know me and my memory---SCARY!
CALIFORNIA 2008
Laguna Beach!! For those of you who have watched the show Laguna Beach this is where the show was filmed. In fact we saw Lauren "LC"S HOUSE, THE SURF SHOP WHERE Stephen WORKED AND THE HOTEL WHERE they STAYED FOR PROM NIGHT. the TOWN IS GORGEOUS, THE BEACH WAS SPECTACULAR, IT WAS AMAZING!! In fact I will live there someday:)

We LOVED Laguna and cant wait to go back!!
Waiting for the parade

Waiting for the Tower of Terror
The face paintings that made me choke costing about 31 smack-a-roos! Oh well it is Disneyland after all :)

Scott and Cohen riding the carousel
We Love SeaWorld. Every year we go I am reminded on how much we love that place. The kids loved the rides at the Sesame Street Park, the Atlantis roller coaster(me not so much)shipwreck rapids, tide pools, and of course the dolphin and Shamu shows. The girls are insistent on wanting to be dolphin trainers now. Cohen loved seeing the penguins(called them ducks) touching star fish, and he LOVED the Budweiser horses so much that he tried to go into one of the stalls with these massive horses. We also loved having my autistic sister(aunt Codee) there at the park with gramma and grampa. It was so much fun seeing how excited she got riding the rides and she absolutely loved the scary Atlantis best.We couldn't wait for the following day to get her on all the scary rides at Disneyland

and birthday girl herself--kate!
It was my cute friend Kate's surprise 30th birthday a couple of weeks ago. We had a good time. Lots of yummy food, drinks and pie. It is always fun to get together with my girls, chit chat and have a wonderfully good time. Happy Birthday Kate! And thanks Tyler for throwing together a fun little shin-dig.
Candice- I am ticked we didn't get any pictures of your birthday last week. I had my camera in my purse and during dinner and conversation it just slipped my mind:( I had a great time celebrating your 30th with you as well. Thanks for being such a great friend. Holy Crap--YOU ARE OLD!! HAHAH!
